Who We Are
CAMBI relies on the collaboration of five research teams with expertise in 1) signal acquisition and processing, 2) natural language processing, 3) cognitive neurophysiology, 4) clinical rehabilitation, and 5) software engineering and technology implementation. Our researchers represent four universities (Oregon Health & Science University, Northeastern University, Michigan Technological University, and University of Washington) and four partner labs. REKNEW (Realizing Expressive Knowledge in Everyone With communication impairments) is a group of clinician-scientists with expertise in communication, cognition, vision, and alternative access.
Cognitive Systems Lab
The Cognitive Systems Laboratory aims to advance theory of statistical signal processing and machine learning through applications.
Oken Cognitive Neuroscience Lab
The Cognitive Neuroscience Lab has expertise in varied neurophysiological data and carries on research in attention, psychophysiology, aging, psychological stress, BCI, and mind-body therapies.
Future Interactions Group
The Future Interactions Group creates interactive systems that leverage uncertain input. In particular, the group works on enhancing the abilities of people with permanent or situational induced disabilities.
